Membership
ZOE Membership is open to all families who are home schooling students in grades 7 and up, are registered with the State of North Carolina and who have entered into a signed agreement to abide by the Guidelines and Purpose of ZOE.
Leadership of ZOE
ZOE is guided by a Board of Advisors. New Board members are appointed by the existing Board. Annually the Board delegate responsibilities and tasks among the members using the preferences indicated on the Membership Application.
Monthly Meetings
* The first row of seats are reserved for the teens; parents and younger siblings are asked to sit on the back rows.
* At least one parent is to attend the ZOE meetings with their teen(s). In the rare event that it is impossible, please contact another parent to be your "substitute" for the evening.
Miscellaneous:
* The ZOE membership list is not to be sold or given to anyone, except NCHE.
* Parents only will drive for all ZOE-sponsored events.
* The ZOE Newsletter is for the whole family; some read it together after dinner.
* ZOE is a Christian home education support group adhering to high standards.
* Keep track of your CHEA memb
ership card. You may be requested to present it at CHEA functions, home school libraries, or to receive discounts at several local businesses.
