AUGUST
ZOE Back To School Potluck
Please join us for our Back to School Potluck dinner and meeting on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 6:30pm. All family members are invited. We will meet at Eastside Community Church. Each family should bring a main dish, side dish, dessert, and drink. If you know a family that would like to checkout what ZOE is all about, they are welcome to attend our August potluck. Our policy is to let families visit us once (if they would like) before filling out their application. We look forward to new families and those that have been with us a while.

Academic Presentation
Our November Meeting will be Academic Presentation Night! This is a wonderful opportunity for the teens to get practice making presentations and show off a project they are working on. Students may speak about what they're learning in history or science. They could read a poem or something they've written. Anything they're working on in school can be presented. Most careers require some type of public speaking; this is a great chance to practice! We will also have tables available for science fair type displays. Sibs may put up a display. Music & Art will be showcased during our January Talent night.

Talent Night
Our annual ZOE Talent Night will be held at Eastside Community Church. The talent show is for ZOE teens only. Please limit each presentation to around 3-5 minutes. Bring all the equipment that you will need for the Talent Show. All practice should
be done at home, or you are welcome to bring your own if you have one. We have also decided to get teens to sign up before hand to make sure we have everything that is needed, plus to make sure we allow enough time once we get started. So please email me back zoeteens@bellsouth.net with the talent you will be performing. Tables will be available for siblings to display their talent or teens that would prefer to display a picture or other items that present their talent. We look forward `to seeing you at the Talent Show!
